The KASH Club FAQs

  1. What is the KASH Club?
The KASH Club is an After School Program for primary school children. READING, SPEAKING & MATH touch practically every aspect of our lives. Yet so many middle and high school children struggle with these skills. The KASH Club is designed to eliminate these problem areas in the early years by providing an environment to enhance skills in these areas with the support of trained coaches.

  2. Is the KASH Club an enrichment program or a remedial program?
Both. Children should start studying above their school grades to have an Opportunity to reach their full potential.

  3. In what way will the KASH Club be an effective complement to my child's school?
Schools MUST cover material as per the syllabus, and the whole class should advance as a group. Children grow at different paces. And it is impossible for the teacher to give personal attention. At the KASH Club, focus will be on the individual child. And there will be a lot of activities and games to excite and stimulate the child to perform at 100% of his
    potential.

  4. How soon can I see results for my child in the KASH Club?
Some children progress rapidly, others take longer. This is not a quick fix solution. We encourage parents to keep their children enrolled for at least a year before judging the effectiveness of the program.

  5. How does the KASH Club differ from tuitions?
We focus on Skill development and Study habits needed to improve academic performance. This will empower the student to succeed on his own. The KASH Club child who begins early may never need tuitions !

  6. How much time commitment does it require?
Twice a week around the year for one hour each per club & brief daily assignments for 15 minutes. Practice every day till it's second nature. We recommend parental involvement for best results.

  7. I just can't get my child to read - I've bought so many books, but getting my child to read seems impossible!!
RELAX!! Teaching a child to read is quite different from teaching him say, good habits, how to behave etc. You may find that you are both getting upset or angry with each other so that it's not working. Don't give up immediately - remember no child is a born reader. Maybe its something very simple that is preventing you from getting your child to read - like reading too long. Anyway, the KASH Reading Club Coach is trained to do activities and play games with your child to stimulate reading, so give it a try. Most often, children don’t read because they don’t comprehend what they read, and so they don’t enjoy reading.

  8. How do I know whether my child is reading up to his level?
At the KASH Club, the Coaches have some material ready to test the level of your child's reading performance.

  1. My child knows English. So how will he benefit from the English Club?                            The English Club is more of a Personality Development Program.Besides focusing on Spoken English – Communication Skills, the course will help children acquire a lot of Life Skills like Relationship Skills & Value Skills.

  2. Is it possible for us to have a look at the curriculum / methods?
Of course!! Walk in and get first hand experience, at any of our clubs 3 pm to 5pm. You can even have your child assessed for free.
